This genre is/was called FMV.
There is many games that utilized videos in cut scenes, but so called traditional FMV games is hard to find on these days.
If there is something like traditional FMV at all.
In my mind FMV games are more like interactive movies that was released in 90's.
Most of interactivity and game play is done with videos or sometimes with pictures that you can interactive via puzzle etc.
But also 3D adventure games with full motion video cut scenes are part of the genre.
