Safedisk copy protection system stop working after KB3086255 is installed to WIN 7/8 systems

One of this month Windows security update (09/2015) for Windows 7 and 8 end's support for Safedisk (Possible Securom as well) copy protection systems.

This will affect's for older PC games that uses these copy protection system. So if you got older PC game with physical CD/DVD games that need Safedisk drivers to work, will stop playing.



This was case for Windows 10 when it was launched, but it shows that Microsoft will  release these updates also for older WIN 7/8 systems.

Steam, GOG and similar digital distribution platform users should be out of harm way.
