Gaming challenge 2016: Stick in my eye - South Park the stick of truth

I have a little confess to made. I am not South Park fan and because this i have never watched more than random episodes from here and there. I can tell by name some characters, but that's all.

I know who is Cartman, Kenny, Kyle and Stan. I also know Mr Hankey and the fact that Kyle's mom is a biggest bitch in a whole big world.

Reason for owning this game is mainly the fact, that is has get many good reviews from the press and because it is really good cRPG.

Part of my #gamingchallenge i had to play it now, to see what i have missed by not playing it?

WHYYYY, why i haven't play this game before.

 

 South Park - The stick of truth

It is a really good choice for not include any main or side character to main protagonist in this game.

You are just moved to South park with your family and your first quest by your parents is going outside and make friends with other child's.

First you meet Butters and he introduce you to Cartman.

Child of South park are playing Live Action Roleplaying game (LARP) and Cartman lead band of humans called Kupa Keep who fight against evil Drow elves led by Kyle.

Human and Elf factions fight to control the stick of truth. Who controls stick, controls universe.

Soon you'll find out that there is greater threat for South park than just fight over stick of truth.You must unite the people of South park to a fight against this threat.

Game itself is more or less cRPG and combat is turn-based and in order to success you must combine potions and spell to orginally melee combat. I liked that you can try to block enemy attacks and if success, you receive less damage.

Game will parody many fantasy cliches and is really fun and enjoying experience, even for non South park fans. If you can go thru it's many poop jokes i will recommend this game. But if you find poop jokes disgusting or don't like the way South park parody everything. Then it's not for you.
